Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman brush haul and review (Giveaway)

ULTA Beauty

Real Techniques Starter Kit $15.99

  This set contains:
deluxe crease brush- a nice, firm, dome shaped brush with very soft bristles.
base shadow brush- reminds me of a Mac 217 but flatter and more firm. It makes a nice blending brush.
accent brush- this brush is a short stiff smudger type brush, great for lining or smudging.
pixel point eyeliner- this brush is too big to be used as a liner brush in my opinion. at first glance I thought it was a lip brush. It is soft and stiff and would be great as a lip brush or to smudge shadow.
brow brush- I was unsure about this being a good brow brush because I tend to prefer a stiffer angled brush for brows. But, the angle and thickness of this brush make it perfect.

Real Techniques Core Collection $15.99

This set contains: contour brush- nice and full, but very soft. all around perfect contour brush. pointed foundation brush- I found this brush perfect for concealer, but too small for foundation. It is still very soft. detailer brush- t…

My usually dry lips feel comfortable with these lipsticks on. The smell isn't horrible, but there is a slight smell. The wear is different with different colors. The darker colors seem to last longer. Delight was the sheerest of the five and had an almost glossy cons…

Tropic Hues swatch
Tropic Hues baked blush is the most gorgeous blush Laura Geller makes. It is the perfect blend of pink/peach and gold for a sunkissed, brightened look. It just wakes the face up and adds a youthful radiance and glow to the skin.

Tropic Hues lip quad is very sheer like a gloss and just puts a sheer hint of color on the lips. The lightest color has some sparkle to it.
