If you follow TheBombshellSuite on YouTube, you probably saw her recent get ready with me video where she used the Wet N Wild highlighter/bronzer in Reserve Your Cabana. She gave it such a great review that I had to go out and find it. Strangely, the drugstore didn't have these at all, but I found one at my grocery store.
Anyway, as soon as I touched it and swatched it on my hand, I knew that it was a dupe for one of my favorite highlighters.
As you know, I am a huge fan of Laura Geller's baked products. The Baked Vanilla highlighter is one of my favorite highlighters for it's subtle sheen and nearly matte appearance. On the skin it brightens, but doesn't shine, glisten, or glitter on the skin.
And wouldn't you know, they are nearly identical! Same texture, same sheen, same glow.
My eyes are red and sore this morning, meaning no contacts today. Since I must wear my glasses, I feel I have free range to wear a stronger eye without anyone noticing I am "dressing up" as they like to call it.
First, I want to mention something that I have forgot to mention in my earlier posts. I did not tell you all how well this makeup covers my acne. I already have my makeup on, but will try to remember tonight to take a close up naked face and edit it back into this post so that you can see what all is being covered by this makeup and it feels like nothing on my skin. I will do another post this week detailing how I cover everything. I had also read a question by MsKimiKiwi on Facebook about how this makeup acts on oily/combo skin. Well, I have combo skin and it is perfection. You will still have oil no matter what makeup you wear. With Dinair the oil still seeps through and you can blot and powder just like with any other makeup and it stays put and looks like new aft…
I will start by saying that I think Estee Lauder does some of the best matte eyeshadow on the market (wild truffle, wild sable, chocolate bliss, etc). These palettes have a great mix of mattes, shimmers, metallics, and satins. They are a bit powdery when you dip your brush into them. But, the pigmentation is great.
My favorites- Fiery Saffron, Provocative Petal, and Infamous Sky. But I also love the metallics in Rebel Metal and Fierce Safari. I actually want them all.
These were taken in a bit of a hurry, but I hope they are helpful enough to help you choose.
