It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereyes Medium and Tan swatches

medium on bottom, tan on top

medium on left, tan on right

Bye Bye Pores Under Eye concealer was made to conceal dark circles under eyes. I think because of the demo's on QVC where Jamie says she uses all over as her foundation, confuses people into thinking this is made for the whole face.

With the upcoming TSV being made available early, many people are posting their complaints over the shade range of this concealer. This frustrates me so much, because it is not made for the whole face. Dark circles require color correction, which is what the shades do. The lighter shades are more yellow tones and the tan shade is peach. This is because lighter people tend to have more redness and need the yellow pigment to counteract and conceal tan and dark people tend to get bluer under the eyes and need the peach to counteract the blue. Under eye concealer is not the same consistency as face concealer and should also not be the same color.

Again people, this is made for UNDER THE EYES!!! If you are ordering this with the intention of anything else, just stop. Unless you are one of the lucky few who actually match one of the shades and can wear all over the face, do not expect to be able to use this all over your face.

So many posters are saying they returned it because it was not the right shade.

Let's read the product description:

"What is it: An anti aging treatment concealer that delivers highly pigmented perfect coverage. Anti aging technology helps address the appearance of lines and wrinkles, while covering to conceal discoloration, dark circles, age spots, and redness. It also helps to diffuse the appearance of wrinkles and conceal facial imperfections without settling into lines and wrinkles."
Anything made to cover darkness, redness, spots, is not going to be made for the whole face unless it is a super high coverage like Dermablend foundation.

I, myself, happen to have three tubes of this concealer. I prefer the tan over the medium, but like to mix the two for my perfect under eye shade. Even when I am at my palest (BE medium beige) the medium is a little too light for my taste. At my darkest (BE medium tan) I can use tan alone. So, I have two tans and one medium for mixing.

I have no affiliation with this company. But it seems so wasteful to me to see all these kits being returned for the wrong reasons.
