As you know, most of my stuff is in storage right now as I wait impatiently to move into my new house. Because of this, I have been forced to live out of a small (well, not too small) makeup bag for the last few weeks. This has really forced me to use products over and over when I would normally choose something new daily.
My favorites are the products that are really working well for me.
Let's start with skincare:
This Algenist moisturizer has been a dream on my acne prone skin. I don't think I can live without it. Full review coming soon.
I am really loving these four products, and all but the limited edition palette, I will re-purchase.
I got this Laura Mercier LE palette last Christmas. I have used the sparkly shades a lot and really enjoy them. LM is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands.
The Tarte Amazonian Clay stick concealer is my absolute favorite concealer because it does not crease. I use it under my eyes and all over my face with no issues.
The It Cosmetics brow pencil is tried and true and never lets me down.
Another Tarte product, the multiplEYE liquid liner, has the finest tip that allows me to get extremely close to my lash line and make as thin or thick line as I want. It does not budge once it sets.
There are several face products I am loving right now.
First, the Missha dual pact powder is great because it is very finely milled so it makes my skin look like silk, it mattifies, it doesn't cake, and doesn't irritate my skin. It also has nice coverage.
The It Cosmetics Vitality Glow Anti-Aging Matte Bronzer doesn't really bronze my skin because it is actually very light. It does add a warmth to my skin which I love. I could actually use it as a setting powder in a tight spot. It would be fantastic for fair skinned beauties who struggle with bronzer.
I am in love with thebalm Frat Boy blush. It is the perfect summer peachy pink. I will be retiring it soon for Fall, though.
Laura Geller's Vanilla highlighter is a blessing against dark shadows on my face. It doesn't cake or sparkle, and adds just enough coverage.
Tarte Achiote blush is a must in anyone's collection. It is a beautiful coral pink and has exceptional pigmentation.
My newest purchase of all these items is the Urban Decay Optical Blurring brush. I am loving this for all my liquid foundations.
Depending on the day, I have alternated between the Loreal Colour Riche lipstick in Sunset Angora 176. It is a beautiful peach with perfect pigmentation and doesn't dry the lips. Revlon Honey Just Bitten kissable balm stain is my go-to color all the time. I have two of them. The It Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi lipstick is the most hydrating of the three and my go to when my lips feel dry... like right now at almost midnight while I am writing this.
I don't have a favorite foundation, still. I just can't find anything that wows me.
