I pre-ordered the day the Inside Q magazine went live, and have had it for several weeks to test it out.
For all of you who have complained about shimmer in LG's products, your prayers have been answered. Can I get a, Hallelujah?
First things first. I have to tell you how cute the coffee theme to this kit is. I love the little coffee bean bag it came in, and the plastic insert was so secure.

You get the famous Balance N Brighten baked powder foundation. I have at least six of these and keep them in every shade. They are very versatile, and me being a makeup artist, I like to have every skin tone lying around.
The blush and shadow have the cutest coffee bean design imprinted on them.
The blush is a nice neutral, almost brown/pink. It is great for an every day blush that goes with anything. I have been pairing it with a smokey eye a lot. It and the shadows have a slight coffee scent. There is no shimmer, but it is not a dry, dusty matte.
The shadows are all very flesh toned. In fact, I had a hard time getting the swatches to show up on my skin. There is a creamy beige, medium tan, and a dark brown. Very similar in formula to the blush.
It is remarkable how these formula's are so dust free, yet apply so easily with a brush.
I did not own the French Vanilla highlighter as a single and was delighted to get it. I use this everywhere- as a shadow base, highlighter, to set my concealer, to sculpt my nose, to lighten darkness, to emphasize my lip line. My favorite use is above my lip to counteract the shadow I sometimes have there. It is so versatile and a staple if you dislike shimmer.
The lip color might be my favorite piece in this kit. The color is a nude, but not a pale nude or flesh tone. It is a wearable nude. Not too pink, not too brown, not orange. It is almost identical to Mac's half n half lipstick. (See below)
Top- cafe au lait, Bottom- half n half
Fair Balance N Brighten
French Vanilla highlighter, Below is the swatch
Mauve Mocha Latte
dark roast, warm mocha, creamy latte
cafe au lait
blush on left, shadows on right dark to light, lipgloss bottom right
As you can see from the swatches, the colors are very natural looking and perfect for daytime.
