September Favorites and Recommendations

Not a lot of products this month as I have been trying out new products and haven't really been reaching for the same things daily.

One thing I really love is my Suave Keratin shampoo and conditioner. It has become my go-to and I have used it exclusively for the last 2-3 weeks and it is fabulous. I have problems with many products making my scalp itch or building up and this doesn't do either and doesn't cause any skin irritation around my hair line. Super impressed! And it's only around $3 a bottle!!!

I am also really impressed by Dalton lip duo's, the shade Bella/Babydoll. See my initial review HERE. This duo is a pinker version of my lips but is very comfortable and hydrating and stays comfortable all day long. You know how some lip products can make a film on the lips or cause peeling? This doesn't do that. A definite go-to!

Vaseline- I have heard that this grows your lashes from a friend who watches Farah Dhukai on YouTube. I also love it on my lips!

Non-Beauty favorites:

100% Pure pumpkin- this is a great substitute for eggs and oil in cupcake batter. It makes for the most moist cupcakes of life. My family is addicted!

Better Homes and Gardens Jar Candle, Soft Cashmere Amber, 18 oz

Better Homes and Gardens candles from Wal-Mart. Under $5 and just as good as the more expensive brands. My favorites are Warm Rustic Woods and Soft Cashmere Amber.

Some things I am trying and could possibly end up being on a favorites blog:

Bare Minerals Ready foundation- I have done an initial review HERE. So far, this has been great. I did end up switching shades to medium tan.

Anastasia Kisses On My List holiday lip set- beautiful glosses, love the shine, long lasting.

Re-vive Pore Correctif serum- This sample is amazing, but at over $200 not sure I can ever afford the full size.

Neutrogena pink grapefruit cleansing wipes- I already love the liquid, the wipes are quicker but leave behind a grapefruit scent that never disappears.
