If you don't subscribe to Makeup Geek on YouTube, what the heck is wrong with you? Marlena is one of the nicest and most sincere people on YouTube and her charm is intoxicating.
She recently launched her own cosmetics line and I couldn't wait to get my hands on everything she had. But, who am I kidding? I am a broke make-up addict, so it has been a slow process for me collecting all these pretties.
Did I mention how fantastic her prices are? Eyeshadows are only $5.99 and lipsticks are only $7.99.
You can find all of these on the Makeup Geek website here.
I started with about four eyeshadows and have collected 2 or 3 at a time since building up to what I have. I keep them in a pink Z palette (also sold in the MUG store). The shipping is very low. Every now and then they offer a discount too, so it's worth subscribing to the website.
The eyeshadows are magnetic pans, but they are also sold in pot form on the website.

If you follow TheBombshellSuite on YouTube, you probably saw her recent get ready with me video where she used the Wet N Wild highlighter/bronzer in Reserve Your Cabana. She gave it such a great review that I had to go out and find it. Strangely, the drugstore didn't have these at all, but I found one at my grocery store.
Anyway, as soon as I touched it and swatched it on my hand, I knew that it was a dupe for one of my favorite highlighters.
As you know, I am a huge fan of Laura Geller's baked products. The Baked Vanilla highlighter is one of my favorite highlighters for it's subtle sheen and nearly matte appearance. On the skin it brightens, but doesn't shine, glisten, or glitter on the skin.
And wouldn't you know, they are nearly identical! Same texture, same sheen, same glow.
Cream eyeshadow seems to be big right now no matter where you shop. Each brand from drugstore to high end is producing their own type of shadow cream. Some come in stick form while some come in a pot, but they all serve the same purpose- to provide long lasting, crease free, shadow application quickly and easily. These can usually be used alone or underneath a powder shadow for greater pigmentation and lasting ability.
Today I am going to talk about my very favorite cream shadow type product- the Mally Everycolor shadow stick.
Why do I like these shadow sticks over every other kind I have tried? That is easy. They last! They apply and set quickly, and they do not budge once set. You get about ten to twenty seconds play time before they set, and then they do not come off unless you use a wipe or remover to take them off.
The Mally Evercolor shadow stick retails for $25 each. It can be purchased anywhere that sells Mally Beauty. I will put links at the end of this post.
