Wishlist- YSL Manifesto

Do you ever see or smell something and that product just stays in your mind and hounds you until you have to give in to the urge and buy it?

I smelled the Yves Saint Laurent Manifesto fragrance today and it mesmerized me. I can't stop thinking about it. If I could create my own scent, it would be this scent. It is everything I love in a scent- vanilla, woods, and feminine.

The scent is described as being a bouquet of jasmine punctuated by green notes and a bold trail combining wood, vanilla and tonka beans. It is a soft, feminine scent that is very wearable and not over-powering. I could see this being my go-to signature scent any time of year for any occasion.

I have never liked citrus or floral, but lately I have found myself liking a soft floral more than I used to. I don't like a powerful scent that can be smelled before you enter a room. I don't like anything that is so strong that it makes my throat and nose irritated.

This scent is what I wanted my Lancome La Vie Est Belle to be. But the Lancome is too powerful and irritating and I can only wear it after spraying one small spray into the air and walking through it. Even then, it is very strong and sweet.

This Manifesto is just a delight. I am so impressed by it! It is very girly girl, but not sugary sweet.

To sum up this post, I must have it!!! I must, I must!
