Ready foundation in Medium Beige
Ready foundation is a tricky one to use. Once you figure it out, it covers and lasts amazingly. I tried this one with and without primers and moisturizers and concluded that for me, using over just my OH Truth Serum worked best. If I used anything slick or hydrating under it, it moved around and looked cakey on my skin. This also happened if I used too much, especially around the mouth area. The trick is to practice different techniques until you find what works for your skin. The brush that comes with this collection for the foundation applies the perfect amount of product. Applying in long strokes and not buffing works best for me. The resulting look is flawless and lasts all day. This is a more matte look than say, It Cosmetics Celebration foundation, which looks more glowing in comparison.
The Love Letter blush is a nice neutral mauve. It works well for a more natural and understated cheek. The Daydream luminizer is a great frosty light pink, that shows up much more subtle and understated on the cheek. They work well together for a mature color and glow.
Moxie in Starlet is a nice sheer rose. On my lips, it looks like a nice sheen, but does not show much color. I love the look and feel of Moxie, but she tends to get a bit sticky on my lips and I end up peeling it and my lips off before it ever wears off. I would prefer a slicker formula.
The Bisque is now and spf20 formula. It is still as nice as the original and works perfectly for pre an post concealing with the Ready foundation.
Stroke Of Light is one of my current staple products. I love the slight glow it gives, but the fact that I also get coverage with it is what I love. It is in the same family as YSL Touche Eclat, but the price is better, you get coverage, and there is more product. I have this is shade 1 and 2 and will do a separate post about them in the future. It is a must have!
The brushes actually pull apart and snap together. They don't stay together, however. They fall apart every time I try to use them end to end. They do apply the product quite well, which was surprising to me after I saw them and thought how cheap they looked.

And this is the after using this kit along with some eye makeup.
My honest opinion- and I have been using this kit now for several weeks.
It is a great kit for someone who needs a complete skin/foundation routine in one collection. Most "addicts" already have everything but the blush and lippie, but with this value, back-ups are never a bad idea. The look achieved from these products is flawless and natural. The ingredients are good for the skin. Any age can benefit from this collection.
The downfall is application. You must practice applying the foundation until you get it right. You can't just try one thing and give up and send back. It is not going to work the same way for everyone. Oily skin may not need a base, or may want an oil controlling serum underneath. Dry skin may want a moisturizer underneath. Normal skin may want nothing at all. Try it multiple ways until it looks right. It is worth it!
Like most QVC TSV's, this may sell out before the end of the day. Jump on it now before it is too late. There is always a possibility of not selling out, but tomorrow the price will be higher than today.
