GlamGlow Super Clearing Treatment Mask- Review

I don't normally review skin products, simply because I don't change my routine very often. I have difficult skin that tends to react negatively to new things. I couldn't help but have to try this one though after hearing all the rave reviews.

From Sephora:

What it is: A scientifically advanced SUPER-MUD™ clearing treatment to target, prevent, and heal problem skin.

What it is formulated to do:
This formula was clinically developed by GLAMGLOW® dermatological chemists to help fight all common skin concerns including breakouts, discoloration, black and white heads, razor bumps, and in-grown hair. Powerful, skin-clearing mud visibly draws out dirt and congestion while a proprietary six-acid blend dramatically brightens and softens skin. It works to magnetically draw out dirt and pores with Activated-X Charcoal, leaving skin smooth and healthy-looking.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates

Research results:
Based on consumer trials:
After 1 day of use:
- 94% felt their skin looked renewed
- 91% saw an improvement in skin clarity
- 94% felt it gently cleared their skin

On day 7 after using it 3 times in a week:
- 98% felt their skin looked renewed
- 97% saw an improvement in skin clarity
- 97% felt it gently cleared their skin

My experience:

I started with a sample from Sephora. I did not want to pay the $69 cost up front if it would not work on my skin.

I applied a thin layer and waited. Immediately it felt cooling and tight on my skin. Within ten minutes it was completely dry and I could see the pulling of my pores visibly on the mask.

I was very impressed with the results from using this mask only one time. My skin felt smoother instantly after rinsing. The next day, I experienced less oil in my t-zone as well as smoother, clearer pores when I removed my makeup at the end of the day.

One application was all it took for me to get online and order the full size jar from Sephora. Yes, $69 is a lot to pay for 1.2 oz of mud. But this little jar of mud is a miracle worker!

If you are on the fence, I say just go for it!

I use it once or twice a week now along with my Proactive and my skin is staying clearer and smoother with far less blackheads.

I use it on my husband too!
