bareminerals Glamour Now TSV- Review
All of us bareminerals lovers look forward to the holiday TSV to come around every year. This year is one of the best ones yet!
I am a huge fan of the Ready formulation. I also still love the loose. This collection has a bit of both in colors that are wearable and easy to use.
Inside Q members were given early access to this collection. Of course, I couldn't order mine fast enough! In fact, I was so excited that I used it before I took my pictures, so they all look a bit messy in my photos. I have been using this kit now for a couple weeks and have plenty of pictures to show you of how I wore it.
What is included:
Rose gold holiday packaging
contour blush and tapered shadow brushes
Lash Domination mascara
Brightening Pearl Perfect Light mineral veil
Marvelous Moxie lipgloss in Dazzler
Smoke and Define double ended liner
Ready 4.0 in The Main Event
Ready Luminizer in The Magic Moment
off focus to show shimmer
Brightening Pearl Perfect Light mineral veil- I love this new version of MV. It has a matte base with a shimmery glow.
Glamour blush- cool toned light pink with shimmer. I had to really build this up to get it to show up on me. It is very light.
The Magic Moment luminizer- warm peachy pink sheen
The Main Event 4.0-
celebrate- matte eggshell
ball gown- shimmery warm gold
cheers- shimmery mid tone taupey silver
stiletto- deep red brown with purple and gold glitter
Dazzler lipgloss- sheer peach with pink and gold shimmer
Smoke and Define liner- Black felt tip liner and Brown retractable pencil liner
Lash Domination- black mascara. I hate it!
I really have enjoyed every piece of this kit except the mascara. I truly dislike the formula and applicator. I feel like they are selling a gimmick that doesn't work. The Volumizing mascara is 1000 times better than this. Not only is it difficult to apply, it is difficult to remove and actually made my lashes break off within a couple days of wearing it. The lipgloss is very sheer. I would have preferred a more pigmented lip with this eye palette. The blush is also very sheer. This is an overall natural look that is not too made up. To make it more dramatic, a deeper blush and lip would need to be added to this collection.
Here are some looks I wore this week:
Overall this is a nice collection of wearable pieces. These shades may not work on very deep skintones as they are light. The liquid liner was a nice addition for those winged liner looks for the holidays. I would have loved to see a red gloss come with this kit instead of the boring peach, but as you can see above, I just added my own. I could not believe all of this was less than $50!!! I would advise getting on A/D for this one!
Tune in to QVC on November 25th to purchase this collection!!!!
