Pantene Original Fresh Dry Shampoo review

I am a dry shampoo enthusiast and use it frequently to keep from shampooing my hair too often. This Pantene dry shampoo tickled my fancy because it is tapioca powder based instead of cornstarch or talc. It was around $5, which is more than the Tresemme or Suave I usually use, but I thought I would try it anyway.

This is my hair all nice and dirty for you.

This is my hair after applying this dry shampoo.

Like every dry shampoo I have ever used, except for Oscar Blandi, this leaves a white cast in my root area. It did absorb the oil nicely and didn't have a strong smell. If you look very closely you can see the powder sitting on the hair, but i find that within a couple hours it wears down and the white look and powder dissipate and the hair looks normal.

I didn't find that this product was any better or worse than the lesser priced brands I have tried, but it worked nicely and I will use it up.

What is your favorite dry shampoo?
