Trish McEvoy Beauty Balm Shade 1- Review

I am new to Trish McEvoy and have been slowly trying some of her products. I was lucky enough to get a sample of this product, since it is more than double the price of most Beauty Balms I have tried. Is it worth it? Find out below.

Shade 1

The product claims:

An all-in-one skin perfecter that instantly primes, brightens, evens, hydrates and controls oil. Rejuvenating peptides improve skin’s texture quality over time while SPF helps prevent sun damage. Worn under foundation or alone, it minimizes shine and delivers a look of healthy, natural coverage with a velvety finish.

The first thing I noticed is how dark Shade 1 is. I am light right now and it was too dark for me. Since this only comes in two shades, I can't see anyone fairer than me being able to use it. Other than that, I did find this product to be superb. The coverage was great, it looked natural on my skin. You all know that I do not like to see my foundation sitting on my skin. This worked into the skin nicely, (I applied with my hands) and really evened out my skin and made it look smooth and even. It was not too matte or flat, it really just gave me a nice healthy glow. What I really found to be exceptional about this product, is that it looked better and better as the day went on. I didn't get oily, the product didn't travel, it really wore very well. I would be interested to see how this would improve my skin over time, since it looked so great just after one day.

Is it worth the $85 price tag? That is up to you. I can say it is the best BB cream type product I have ever tried. I can see this being great for oily skin up to aging, dry skin.

Have you/will you be trying this product? What do you think?
