My one-two punch for knocking out fine lines around the eyes

I have been struggling lately with these new fine lines that have magically appeared under my eyes. I only started noticing them when I put concealer under my eyes and it settled into these lines, magnifying them. I immediately went into panic mode and started researching how to treat them.

(continued below)

Before application. Dry, dehydrated skin

After application. Skin looks hydrated and firmer.

It is very hard to photograph fine lines. I hope you get the gist of what these products do from these pictures.

Step One to treating fine lines and dehydration in general is to exfoliate the dead, dry skin off. I use my Dermabrasion machine from Dr. Denese for physical exfoliation, but find it too harsh for this delicate area. I prefer a chemical exfoliation for under the eyes. The Firming and Resurfacing Eye Pads are a gentler version of the face pads that Dr. Denese sells. I cut these in half and use half of one pad for both eyes. This preps the skin for step two.

Step Two is the Hydroshield Eye Emulsion.  This is a very unique eye cream that is a silky gel formula, rather than a cream. A tiny bit covers the complete under eye area, hydrates the skin, and fills in the fine lines. I find this to be an excellent primer under concealer. I also love this for priming around the lips! I apply it all over and around my lips to plump up the dry lines I have and to prevent lip products from bleeding.

There you have it! Two simple steps.
